Angela, I am so so sorry to hear of Dwight's passing and you and your family and Ashley are in my prayers. I am so sorry I did not find this website earlier. Dwight, WOW he was one wonderful person. We went to Junior high and High School together and graduated together in the class of 1975. His locker was next to mine in high school. So of course Dwight the great guy that he was and still is, would try and tease me to get to know me. My maiden Name is Kreul and he came up with my nickname TexCoral. He use to always be so funny and was truly one of my favorite guys in high school. I talk about him to my husband of 25 years that this guy from high school Dwight Hirschinger nick named me Texcoral and my husband would laugh. I felt that Dwight and I were good friends for high school. He was one heck of a guy and I know Angela you are too. Dwight was very picky and for the both of you to find each other and share 18 years together, I am so happy for both of you. I know this has to be terribly hard for you and for that I am so so sorry. Only God knows our journey and when it's our time to go. Unfortunately it makes it so hard for you and the rest of family and friends that are left behind. I know you will reunite with Dwight again when that day comes. I will continue to pray for you and your family Angela. I could go on and on about Dwight, but there is no need for that, as YOU know being his wife the guy he was and still is. I will continue to pray for you Angela and Dwight and I know he is in the most beautiful place he can be with GOD, Paradise. MY deepest Smypathies to you Angela, I wished I could have met you. I love dogs and I was so tickled that Dwight loved his dogs. My prayers will always be with you. Sincerely, Patti Kreul Riesch. My deepest Sympathy goes out to Amy, Claire and his brother.

I met Dwight in our younger years in Baraboo, he lived down the street from my family, we did alot together until later in high school. Enjoyed our walks to the Jr High every morning for classes. Lost touch with him after we graduated from high school. Have many fond memories of our younger days. He always put in my place with his quick wit and great personality. My sympathy to the family and may God bless you all.

Im so sorry to hear about Dwight. I worked with him for many years a very long time ago at Zantop and then briefly on base. He was such a kind soul, great poet and true friend. I had not seen him in many years but thought of him often. I'm sure he turned out to be a wonderful dad and husband he always had those qualities about him. My prayers go out to his wife, daughter and all of his family .

I was an old friend of Dwight's at Zantop and at the base on C-17s. He was one of the most intelligent guys I've ever known. I always thought he would be a great Dad. His letters to the Macon Telegraph were always pithy and thought-provoking. My sympathy goes out to his family.
