Elizabeth Foskey Obituary
May 27,1928 - March 17, 2015
Cochran, GA- Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth B. Foskey, 88, who died Tuesday, March 17, 2015 in Milledgeville, will be held Sunday March 22, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in Limestone Baptist Church. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Foskey was born in Cochran to the late Jim and Susan Benson and was a lifelong resident of Cochran. She was a 1942 graduate of Dodge County High School and later attended Middle Georgia College. She was preceded in death by her husband Jake H. Foskey, daughter Ann F. Black, sister Jimmie B. Roland, granddaughter Melissa Foskey, and great grandson Joshua Revel.
Mrs. Elizabeth is survived by her children: Harry (Myra) Foskey of Cochran, Marie Speer of Cochran, Debbie Pulliam of Milledgeville, James (Emily) Foskey of Cochran, Carol (Mike) O'Shaughnessy of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and Beth (Glenn) Harding of Cochran; brother William H. Benson of Maryland and son-in law Gary Black. She has 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
The family will meet friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m and will be at their residence. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Mrs. Elizabeth to Serenity Foundation, P.O. Box 428, Dublin, GA 31040.
Fisher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
