Elsie Lee Fowler Stafford -BYRON - Funeral services for Elsie Lee Fowler Stafford, 67, will be held at 3P.M. Sunday, June 25, 2006 in the chapel of Rooks Funeral Home in Byron with Rev. David Fisher and Rev. Steven Golden officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Fort Valley. -Mrs. Stafford died Thursday, June 22, 2006. -Born in Houston County to the late Ernest Norman and Ruby Lee Flournoy Fowler, Mrs. Stafford was a retired inspector with Bibb Manufacturing Company and attended Southside Baptist Church in Warner Robins. She was a loving wife, mother and sister. -Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Jim Stafford of Byron; their children, Diane and Jeff Camp of Jackson; Faye and Joe Tripp of Haynesville and Bob and Chrys Stafford of Macon; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren; brothers and sister, Marvin and Mary Fowler, John and Lavonia Fowler and Bernice and Hyndall Peavy, all of Haynesville, Ken and Tommie Fowler of Hawkinsville, Donnie and Bonnie Fowler of Dexter and Bobby and Cathy Fowler of Fort Valley. She was preceded in death by her sons, J. T. Stafford and Mark Stafford and two great grandchildren. -The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Saturday, June 24 at Rooks Funeral Home in Byron. Family may be contacted at the residence of John and Lavonia Fowler, 3020 Highway 341 South in Haynesville. -Rooks Funeral Home in Byron has charge of arrangements.
