Emma Steed Calhoun Williams -MACON - Emma Steed Calhoun Williams, 97, died Sunday, December 31, 2006. Graveside services will be held at 2P.M. Wednesday in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. David Franklin will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. -Mrs. Williams was born in Carroll County, GA and had lived in Macon for most of her life. She was retired from Burton's Shoe Store and was a member of Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church and the Woodmen of the World. She was the widow of Walter Williams and the daughter of the late Tom and Lester McCrary Steed. -Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughter, Madeleine C.
