Evelyn G. Goodroe

Evelyn G. Goodroe -UNADILLA - Evelyn G. Goodroe, age 76, of Unadilla, died Friday at her residence. -Mrs. Goodroe was the daughter of the late Lester J. Griffin and Ina Lee Williams. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla and worked as a bookkeeper at State Bank & Trust for 43 years. As a cancer survivor, Mrs. Goodroe participated in the survivor walk each year at the Relay For Life in Dooly County. -She is survived by her daughter, Faye Mixon (Myron) of Unadilla; her sister, DeAlva Peavy of Perry; her grandchildren, Kylie Jones, Cory Jones, David Mixon and Michael Mixon. -Funeral services will be at 3P.M. Monday in First Baptist Church of Unadilla with interment in Walnut Cemetery. -The family will greet friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
