Forrest Vaughn Obituary

Forrest J. Vaughn, Sr. -MCRAE - Forrest Joseph Vaughn Sr., died Friday, April 18, 2003. Funeral services will be at 10A.M., Monday, April 21 in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home and burial will follow in Telfair Memorial Gardens. -A native and lifelong resident of Telfair County, Mr. Vaughn was the son of the late John E. Vaughn and Evie Hulett Commander. He was a retired vending machine business owner and an Army Veteran of World War II. Mr. Vaughn was married to the late Martha Hyman Vaughn. -Survivors include his wife, Billie Vaughn; son, Joseph Vaughn; half-sister, Jean Boone; granddaughters: Jodi Vaughn and Chelsea Vaughn, all of McRae. -The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00P.M. Sunday, April 20 at Vaughn Funeral Home. -Vaughn Funeral Home of McRae has charge of arrangements.
