Geneva Grainger Fowler -LENOIR CITY, TN - Geneva Grainger Fowler, age 89, of Lenoir City passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010. -She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lenoir City. Geneva was retired from her family business at Fowlers Furniture and J. D. Kinders Furniture after many years. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by her parents, Furnie and Flora Grainger; grandsons, Donnie Hardee-Gossett and Jeff Fowler; sisters: Ruth Grainger, Thelma King, Edythe Causey and Vera Hilburn; and brother, Robert Grainger. Survived by her sons, Don Fowler and Bonita of Lenoir City, Jerry Fowler and Linda Gail of Chattanooga, Keith Fowler and Frances of Adairsville, GA; daughter, Dollie Exalee Hardee and Wayon of Chattanooga; Jerilyn Fowler Nunley of Chattanooga and Donna Fowler of Lenoir City; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. -The family would like to express a special thanks to her extended family and friends at Baptist Health Care for their special care. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, July 29th at the First Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Dr. Dick DeMerchant and Rev. Jim Chastain of Summerville, GA officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 7:30 A.M., Friday and proceed to Loudon Co. Memorial Gardens for graveside services at 8 A.M.
