George "Curly" Albert Watson -MACON - George Albert Watson, 81, died Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at his residence after a long illness. -Funeral services will be Thursday, March 2, 2006 at 3P.M. at Trinity Freewill Baptist Church, Taylor County, Georgia with burial in Trinity Cemetery. Rev. Johnny Watts will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, March 1, 2006 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. -Mr. Watson was born December 1, 1924 in Taylor County, Georgia, the son of the late George and Jewel Raybon Watson. He has lived in Macon most of his life and was former owner and founder of Watson Plumbing Company, and former owner of Curly's Bait and Tackle Company in Macon. He was a retired Staff Sgt. of World War II. -Survivors include his wife, Anne Gunter Watson of Macon; son, Henry Watson and Tomi of Greensboro, N.C., William Watson of Perry, Johnny Watson and Denise of Gray, Wayne Watson and Michele, Tony Watson and Denise, James Watson all of Macon, GA and Greg Towns of McRae; daughters, Shirley Kirkland and Jimmy of Milan, Martha Faye McGowan of Helena and Karen Hand of Buena Vista; twenty-three grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; sisters, Doris gill of Warner Robins, Kathleen Childress and Patsy Sams, both of Macon, numerous nieces and nephews. -Mr. Watson was preceded in death by brothers, Robert Watson, Hugh Watson, and Tommy Watson and sister, Wynelle Ray. -The family may be contacted at 103 Oakview Drive, West, Macon, Georgia 31217. -Tante Funeral Home, Buena Vista, has charge of arrangements.
