Warner Robins, Georgia - Gretchen Lynn Welde Elliott was born on May 18, 1963 in Sacramento, CA to Linda Welde and Anthony Christian Welde (deceased) and passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022. She moved with her Air Force family to Spokane, WA, Montgomery, AL, and finally to Warner Robins, GA.
Gretchen grew up in Warner Robins from sixth grade on and graduated from Warner Robins High School. She attended Auburn University and graduated with a BS from Valdosta State University. She had advance training as a CPA with an MBA from Wake Forest University specializing in finance.
Gretchen married Daniel Pierce Elliott on March 2, 1996. They lived and thrived most of their married lives in Warner Robins. She and Danny were active members of Central Baptist Church.
Gretchen is survived by her mother, Linda Welde Fossier of Winston-Salem, NC; her brother, Eric Christian Welde and beloved sister-in-law, Lisa of Raleigh, NC; their daughter, Chelsea Hunter and her husband, Ryan; niece, Peyton; and nephew, Weston.
Visitation will be Monday, November 14, 2022, from 11:00AM until 12Noon at McCullough Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at Noon in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will be private at Magnolia Park Cemetery afterwards.
