Arnold, Rose, and Clifford:
I can not express the deep sadness that I felt when I learned of Harold’s death, it was such shocking news. I found out on Christmas Eve and my thoughts and prayers were with you throughout the Holidays. I will continue to pray for you that you receive the strength needed to get you through these difficult and very sad times. You have to keep believing that he is in a better place now and that he will be deeply missed by all who admired and loved him.

Although many years have passed since I last saw Harold it was in Atlanta, and in my mind I can still see his big sincere grin, I felt Harold was some what like my brother. My sincere condolences also go out to his wife and son. May God Bless you all and I will keep you in my prayers.

To The Johnson Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. I was truly shocked by the news of his death. I will always remember Coach as a person who was fair, knowledable and persistent in his endeavors--both as a coach and as an individual. Thank you for speaking with me and providing directions to the church so that I could pay my last respects to a well deserving young man. I was really hoping to work with him again.

Violet, Sharod, and the Johnson family.

Words can not express how sorry our family is to know that your family is experiencing grief at this time.

When we met Harold may be 10 years ago he presented himself as an awesome, spiritual, positive, God fearing, family loving person. His personality did not change over the years.

You will miss him terribly and think of him often. Perhaps you will try to recall the last words he spoke to you, or in some way wonder if he knew that his time to go with his heavenly Father was near. Please do not trouble your self with those thoughts. Just remember the life he led, the things he stood far, the lives he touched with his ever positive and encouraging manner.

There was never a conversation we had with him that we did not leave his presence feeling uplifted and positive regardless of what the conversation was about.

It seems that he knew what the Lord intended for his life and set about making those things happen and that was to be a servant and bearer of the Good News of God's love and Grace and Mercy.

Rest in his memory.

Your friends.
The Golsons. Charles, Mozelle, Charletha and the Grands.

Dr. Johnson was an inspiration to me during my stint at Cambridge College in the summer of 2006. He had a father-type relationship with our co-hort and he pushed us to aways do our best. I will never forget the way he dressed- always in a suit and hat. He and Dr. Violet complimented each other well. Dr. Violet, my prayers are with you and know you're not alone. Dr. Harold was a great man and I'm thankful that God allowed our paths to cross. He will be greatly missed. May the peace of God comfort you in your time of loss.

Dr. Johnson was a great Coach and leader in Talbotton Ga. where I met him. He took over the Hawks after my late husband Coach Ronald Graham left for a new job. I talked of him as the the stylish coach. He would always be dressed. I came to your wedding, but didn't really get to talk to you. I know what pain you are having at this time. Coach Graham died last year Dec. 1, 2007, but I have to stay close to the lord and have good friends and family members for support. To the Johnson family:

I cannot express my deepest sympathy to the Johnson family. Dr. Johnson's passing was a complete shock to me, and my family. I am very heartbroken. We loved him dearly, and thought VERY highly of him. It's gonna hard going back to school after the holidays not seeing Dr. Johnson there in the hallways or hearing him over the intercom EVERYDAY.

And again, I cannot express to the Johnson family just how just sorry I am.. There isn't any words to express how much we (his students/staff at Wilco High) will miss him. But he will always he in our hearts.

I wish to express my sympathy and extend my heartfelt condolence in the homegoing of your loved one, Dr. J, as I called him. I know your hearts are saddened, but faith in a loving merciful God can give you peace during this time of bereavement. May you find comfort in knowing that God can lift your burdens and give you everlasting strength. As the scripture tells us, "weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning". Tenderly, may time heal your sorrow; gently may friends ease the pain; softly may peace replace heartache, and may warmest memories remain. Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.
