Hubert Chapman Obituary

Hubert E. Chapman -LIZELLA - Hubert E. Chapman, age 87, who died Sunday in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 3P.M in Dixon United Methodist Church with burial in Dixon United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Frank Chapman, Rev. Bill Huddle and Rev. Tom Ivey will officiate. -Mr. Chapman was born in Crawford County, son of the late David and Naomi Chapman, a member of Dixon Chapman United Methodist Church and retired quality inspector, electronic department at Robins Air Force Base. He was a Veteran of US Army serving in WWII. He was preceded in death by his son Ronny Chapman and a grandson Stephen Michael Estes. -Survivors include his wife Hilda L. Chapman of Lizella; son, Mickey Chapman of Macon; daughter, Tricia (Johnny) Estes of Ft Valley; grandchildren, Ronny (Liza) Chapman of Dawsonnville, Kevin Chapman of Macon, Laura (Michael) Lower of Ft. Valley, Stephanie Estes of Ft. Valley, Katie Estes of Ft. Valley; great grandchildren, Ashlen and Trystan Lower of Ft. Valley; sisters Minnie Lee (James) Gordon of Macon, Helen Williams of Macon and June Mullis of Macon; brother Buddy Chapman of Valdosta; daughter-in-law Alma Chapman of Plains, several nieces and nephews. -The family will be at the residence. -Contributions in Mr. Chapman's name may be made to Dixon United Methodist Church, 6637 Sandy Point Road, Lizella, GA 31052 or flowers will be accepted. -Crest Lawn Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. We were so sad to hear about your dad's accident and his death. Mama was in the hospital again, and I did not find out until after the services.
