Inez McLeod Obituary
May 30, 1939 - May 16, 2014
Byron, GA- Naomi Inez McLeod, age 74, passed away Friday surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Macon to the late Arthur Williams and Susie Wright Williams. She loved reading and spending time with her family. Inez was a strong-willed, caring lady, and always put others before herself.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, C.L. McLeod; sister, Loretta Bartlett; and brothers, R.C. Williams, Cletus Williams, and Arthur Williams.
She is survived by her children, Donna Moss (Eddie) of Byron, Hope Gilbert (John) of Columbus, Gail Tall (John) of Florida, Leslie McLeod (Darlene) of Florida, and Jimmy McLeod of Byron; sisters, Zelda Collins, Faye Grant, Peggy Murphy, and Sally Taylor; 17 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4-6:00 P.M. Sunday at Crest Lawn.
Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 19, 2014 in Simmons Cemetery, Bleckley County. Pastor Todd Shearin will officiate.
Flowers are appreciated, or memorials may be directed to Serenity Hospice, 1057 N. Houston Road, Warner Robins, Georgia 31093.
