James Lumley Obituary

James Douglas Lumley -MACON - James Douglas Lumley passed away December 18, 2006. Funeral services will be held 3P.M. Thursday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. -Mr. Lumley was the son of the late Vernon Robert and Marie Logue Lumley. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base as a mechanic and was a self employed mechanic. He was presently employed by Heart of Georgia Towing, and was a avid race fan. -Mr. Lumley is survived by daughter, Lisa Lord (David) of Cochran, Teresa Hodge of Cochran; sons, Jimmy Lumley (Teresa) of Byron, Doug Lumley (Mandy) of Gray and Dale Lumley (Debbie) of Ivey; his fiancŽ Frances Brown of Macon; step children, Cindy Wilson, Jamie Bates, Wayne Bates, and Ashley Bates; sisters, Verna May of Augusta, and Darra Judd of Swainsboro; seventeen grandchildren and four step grandchildren. -The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. Wednesday evening in the funeral home. -In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the James D. Lumley burial fund at any Security Bank. -Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery has charge of arrangements.
