Jane was my private voice teacher for 5 years (1979-84). I will always consider her one of my top 5 people ever in my life, she made a humungous impact on me all in a good way. She was caring, understanding, talented. She'd let me hang out in her office and listen to the Beatles. When my friend told me of her passing years ago I was devasted. I'm happy I went to see her when she taught in her later years at Banting to tell her how awesome I thought she was. I will forever remember her.

I taught at Horning Middle School with Jane, and for some reason I remember her getting lots of roses from adoring males. May she have a rose-filled afterlife.

Such a sweet person. I have so many wonderful memories of Jane in choir and in the Chamber Singers. We always had a wonderful time. God must have needed a lead soprano. Always in my thoughts and in my prayers. So sorry for this tremendous loss.

To Audrey & Bud and all who loved Jane --

I was shocked and dismayed to read the news of Jane's passing. She was a warm and caring person and had a flair for life. She has brought a smile to my lips every time I have thought of her these many years since we met at Lawrence 40 years ago, which has been often. I will continue to smile when I think of her.

My thoughts and prayers are with you...and with Jane.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was shocked to read about Jane in the paper. I remember when we were kids when you would come up to Three Lakes and Jane and I would take a sauna and then run in the lake. My thoughts are with you durning this hard time. I lost a son 16 years ago and time will heal the pain of your loss. But the memories will always be there.
