Dear Ones, Our hearts break once again over the loss of your mother,
she was such a charater and always laughing. I have loved both Jean and Hall ever since I can remember.
You are a part of our lives. Some of the best years of my life and most fun filled times were when I worked at the shop! It was a wild and crazy ride which I will never forget. Hall was waiting to welcome the love of his life home. Joy and Burney, they both were so proud of you and your families and were blessed to have you near them. If there is anything we can possible do just let us know. We will be with you tomorrow as we were for Hall because we deeply share your grief. I had planned to call every single day but we've all been so sick and lost our voices. Have had to go back and forth to doctor to change meds., it's been a hassle. May God give you the comfort you will need to get you through this sad time and remember we love you dearly.

December 11, 2007

Dear Joy, Burney, and Families,
Red and I are both just heart sick over losing Jean. We know, of course, that her faith has become sight and that she is with her Lord...that she is again with her "sweetheart" of so many years but we will miss her. She was genuinely one of the sweetest people I ever knew. We go back a very long way. You probably don't know that she taught me to drive when I was sixteen and she, only a year older. I really loved Jean as did all of us in our "Lunch Bunch" group. It will not be the same without her...she was the one that kept us together.
Please know that you are in our hearts and prayers and that you have our love.
Yours, in Him Who loved us first, Alice and Red
