Perry, Georgia - Jeri Ann Sadlo, 81, entered into rest on Wednesday, August 2, 2023.
Jeri was born on April 12, 1942, in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Bernard and Lillian Potts. She was well known for her love of animals. She had many pets over the years that were treated like family. She adored Dr. Vernard Hodges, who was like a son to her. She was close with all the staff at Critter Fixers. Jeri never met a stranger; she had an unforgettable personality and was well known in her community. She will be missed dearly.
In addition to her parents, Jeri was preceded in death by her husband, Captain Charles John Sadlo, Jr. of the Warner Robins Police Department (Ret.), and sister, Bernadine Potts.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Gina Sadlo Swartley; grandchildren, Brittany Hester and Tiffany Sadlo; great-grandchildren, Valkyrie Pittman, Matthew Pittman, Jr., and Joshua Hester; sister, Alta Potts; along with honorary granddaughter, Amanda Smith Evans (Jerry) and their children, Brianna, McKayla, and Mason; bonus daughter, Sarah Borgesen (Adam) along with their children, Justin Yeske and Ilana Borgeson; and special friend, who was like a son, Dr. Vernard Hodges (Belinda Stephens).
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 14, 2023, at Magnolia Park Cemetery, where Jeri will be laid to rest.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Jeri Ann Sadlo to Critter Fixers at 102 Starlight Drive, Bonaire, GA 31005.
