To the family of Jimmy, my thoughts and prayers go out to each of you during your time of Bereavement. I was a classmate of Jimmy's at Northeast High School. He was a man of modesty and dignity. His Christianity was reflected in his mannerisms and servanthood to all who knew him. I know he will be missed but remember that Heaven has a way of reuniting all of us for that great family and class reunion for eternity. May the angels comfort you all during this time and keep you all in perfect peace.

To the Jackson Family:
Jimmy and I were classmates at Northeast and Savannah State College (now SSU). We rode that "Orange" car of his, many times up I-16 to Macon and back to Savannah and from Savannah back to Macon. He was an intelligent man and a great debater. During our time at Savannah State, Jimmy would use words that often, send you to a dictionary (He pride himself on his intelligence and word usage). He was also a salesperson, frequently, selling hotdogs, oatmeal pies, and soft drinks, in the dorm at night. He was a true soldier and classmate. It is a great loss and someone that will be dearly missed. Jackson family, hold to GOD's unchanging hand in these sorrowful times and Be Strong.

Dear Family,
Hello, Mrs. Jackson, Rod, and Adrina. This is a great loss to myself (Yolanda), Eric, and Keziah (formerly Bowden). You all lived diagonally behind us. We all moved to Thornton Heights around the same time; brand new homes. Jimmy and I played together out there in all that dirt prior to beautiful lawns appearing. Please know that you all are in our prayers and that God does not make mistakes. Love you all, Yolanda D. Bowden (Robinson).

To Mrs. Jackson, Rod, and Dree:
As you know Jimmy was like a brother to me. We grew up together. We attended Duresville, Appling B and Northeast together. We hung out together. We would go to the high school games, bowling alley and skating rink together. Jimmy and I also were roommates at Savannah State for our first two years. Jimmy was so full of life and vigor. We often discussed the future. Jimmy had a lot of aspirations and when he was just about to fulfill them his health began to fail him. Despite of that Jimmy still tried to presevere. However, Jimmy's poor little body just couldn't take it anymore. The Lord looked down in his vineyard and called Jimmy home. Although Jimmy is in a better place I will always missed my friend, roommate and "brother". I will always cherish the memories. May God continue to bless you and yours.

To the Jackson Family,
I don't think that I have met a more intelligent person that your son. He was a lover of knowledge. Words can not express the grief that I know that you are feeling with the lost of Jim. You all will continue to be in my prayers as you start to heal from this tremendous lost.
