Joann McGhee Obituary
Fort Valley, GA- Joann Hill McGhee a beautiful Angel with a beautiful spirit- widow of the late SB McGhee was called home by the Lord on Saturday, June 14, 2014. Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday, June 21, 2014, 11:00 Am at Shiloh Baptist Church - Reverend Morris Hillsman, Pastor.
Survivors include: 4 devoted children: Mr. Tony Eric McGhee, Dr. Debra McGhee shipp, Mr. Samuel Bernard McGhee and Mr. Gerald Andre' McGhee; mother, Jessie M. Hill; brother, Oscar Hill, Jr.; host of grandchildren, relatives and friends.
The family will be receiving guests at the home of
Joann McGhee
2651 State University Drive
Fort Valley, GA 31030
After 5:00 pm 9:00 pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
C.J. Edwards entrusted with the arrangements.

An angel has been called to return; however, she touched many lives and hearts as she was with us. I am saddened to hear of your loss, but I do know that God comforts His people. To Tony, Deb, Sam, Gerald and the Hill family,
Thanks for sharing your father SB and your Mother Joann with me while a student at FVSC. You guys are like a sister and brother to me.
Take comfort in knowing that your parents are home with the Lord.
Honor their life and nurturing/training by establishing and maintaining the right relationship first with God and then with each other. Undergrid and strengthen one another.
Know that God allows adversity, storms, and even death into our lives not to break us but make us strong.
Lean and trust God in all situations that come your way, knowing that God is working it out for your good.
