John Bembry -COOPERS - Services for John Robert Bembry, Sr., age 66, will be held Sunday, June 6, 2004, 2P.M. in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Milledgeville. Rev. Ralph Story will officiate. Bembry died Thursday, June 3, 2004, at his residence. -Mr. Bembry was a native of Pulaski County, Moved to Hancock County in 1978 and has made his home in Baldwin County for the past six years. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Allen Bembry and Ester Anderson Kelly, and a daughter, Dianne Bembry. Mr. Bembry was a Veteran of the US Navy and was co-owner and operator of Bembry's Country Store in Hancock County. He was a member of Old Capital Car Club in Milledgeville and Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. -Survivors include wife, Norma Davis Bembry of Coopers; son, John R. Bembry, Jr. Of Milledgeville; stepchildren, Linda Bembry of Alabama, Robin Pedigo of Zephyr Hills, FL, Jeannie Lewis of Portagelakes, OH, Ricky Duncan of Chester, SC; sisters, Virginia Miller of Dover, FL, Sarah McHaffey of Warner Robins, Jean Lovik of Troy, AL, Marty Michaud of Gray; brother, Thomas Bembry of Austin, TX; step-mother, Callie Bembry of Warner Robins nine grandchildren two great grandchildren. -The family will receive friends at the residence. -In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Mt.
