Dear Mrs. Henry, I knew Josh for only a short time at work. He stood out as a quiet man who believed in doing quality work. To find someone with his talent and work ethic is a treasure and joy. I would have loved to gotten to know him better
I have had to grieve for both my mother and mother-in-law this past year. While the pain will never truly go away, I have found that by sharing memories with my family and close friends my grief has been eased, much like a squeaky wheel that gets greased. We don't know each other but if I may offer this, Sooth yourself by sharing with loved ones. You deserve it... and they do too. I beg you, Please, do not bottle anything up. let it out. Let it out. Let your family know you love them. Let them Love you.
I truly do share your grief.

The Final Salute

“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another.

This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to Joshua John Henry our “Brother-in-Arms”. To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Joshua. And to Joshua it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country during Operations Iraqi Feedom while deployed as a SeaBee with the U.S. Navy. Joshua, we bid you a sad farewell. You will be dearly missed from among our ranks. Be at Ease. Rest in Peace.

On behalf of the 1,307 military veteran Legionnaires of Lowe-McFarlane Post 14 of the American Legion, I extend our sympathies and our condolences to Joshua's family and loved ones.
