Macon, Georgia - Joyce Cooper Leonard, 88, of Macon, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Joyce was the daughter of Elton and Merle Cooper of Dublin, GA; wife of Milton Leonard; sister to Jeanelle Jordan; mother of three daughters Joy (Wayne) Johnson, Debbie Leonard and Laurie (Paul) Goin; grandmother to Stephen Johnson, Shelley Johnson and great grandmother to Felix and Felicity and a new baby girl to be; and aunt and great aunt to several nieces and nephews. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. with visitors welcome at Macon Memorial Park. There will also be a Celebration of Life Service announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Tabernacle Baptist Church, Macon, GA.

To Joyce's family: I just noticed Joyce's notice. I am a past member of TBC (live in TN now) and I worked with Joyce when she worked part time for Chi-Ches-ter's. Enjoyed working with her and that's where I got to know her. She was a sweetheart and know you will all miss her very much. Love and prayers to you. Rosa Boyer
