David I was so sadden when Evelyn called and told me the news. God's plan for us sure is hard to understand sometimes. Kim was such a special person and I only had the opportunity to work with her. She was always a bright spot at Lodestar no matter what circumstances we were surrounded with. I truly enjoyed working with her. I was also blessed through her to gain a golf partner and even today I miss those times we spent out there together. I was so touched by the e-mail you sent to Jane with the news about Kim. As special as Kim was she was so lucky to have you for a husband and the father of her children. You are in my thoughts and prayers and again I am so sorry for your loss.

I am a friend of Lisa Kratzert's and she had asked for a prayer request for your family which I have done with the women in my prayer group. I am so very sorry to hear about your sudden loss. I pray that God guides your steps as you build a life with your children. Lean on him and you will be lifted up and stronger. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

David,
Words cannot express to you and the children how very deeply shocked we were to here about dear Kim. She was a beautiful person and patiently endured my "short" jokes all during the time we worked together at Lodestar. As you know, I really hated to see you all leave Kentucky, but knew that the love of family made it so special that you were going "home" again. Please know that you and all of Kim's family will be in our thoughts and prayers. We know what it is to lose someone much too soon. We endured the loss of our 18 year old granddaugher, Ashley, who was cruelly murdered along with her little unborn son, Landon on January 7, 2004. We can relate to your tragic loss, but we all must hold on to the good times and happy memories to keep going on. Give the baby and Kory a big hug from me. we love you all very much.

Dear David and family,
I offer my deepest condolences to you all. I'm certain that you are utterly lost and are currently unconsolable, without your beautiful Kim. I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear the news about Kim, today . . . clearly, there is something much bigger and greater than us at work when things this tradgic happens. Hopefully, someday the reasons for our pain and grief will be made clear, and all your tears will be replaced with joy when your family can be reunited. Until then, try to take comfort in the memories of your life together, and know that your grief is shared by so many people, including myself, who were very blessed to have shared part of this mortal life with your beloved Kim. My heart breaks for all of us, but especially for David, Kim's Mom, and her children. Marilyn

To Sonja and the McIntyre/Person/McNair Families,
I was taken aback when I received the sad news of Kim's untimely death, that I could not sign the guest book before now. Please accept my humble appology.
I know from personal expierence, that this is a bitter pill to swallow and there will be questions that you will never get answers to.
I can only advise you to trust God Almighty to get you through to the other side of heartache and sadness, where you can focus on the great memories that you have of Kim. I am so thankful she passed our way. She was a beautiful person. Will talk to you soon.

I had the pleasure to graduate from St. Peter Claver with Kim in 1983. She was a very mannerable, sincere, intelligent person who had that distinct, "It's Something Special About Her" spirit. The spirit of the Lord was upon her at a very young age. When others around her ran amuck, Kim was always calm and remained the same sweet young lady that she always was. I never remember seeing Kim angry or having a harsh word to say. From grades 1st through 8th, she was true to herself and did not waver at all from the great young woman that she was raised to be. Her glowing personality and awesome manners will remain with me forever. It is hard to hear that one of your peers has left this earth. I, like so many others asked questions and wanted to know why her. I wish that I had an answer. However we must have comfort in knowing that God does indeed have a plan and His plan for Kim has been fufilled. I am quite sure that she has been seated at the banquet table in Heaven. To the family, you have my sincere prayers and I will continue to lift you up in prayer. May God continue to bless you and keep you all. There is a legend that heroes or great people never die, they ride off into the sunset. Kim has left us physically, however her spirit shall always remain with us. She has been called to go with God to her blessed reward. Kim, I'll never forget you. Thank you for making each and everyone of us feel special. Thank you for being you. I am quite sure you'll make a pefect angel.

Dr. McIntyre and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I am praying for you and your family. I know there is not much I can say especially at this time of the year, but I am saddened greatly. This is not disserved, but god has control and knows what should come of each of our lives. All we can do is live to our fullest. I am glad that she left her first daughter before she was to leave the earth. Her daughter will be her future and your son will always be her as well.

To have known Kim from the pony tails, books, braces and a soft voice every parent wish. From this child emerged a woman who became an encourager, giver, so full of wisdom, organizer, wife and mother. Those who knew Kim will be blessed a long time with her short time on earth. I truly will miss Kim, but will cherish the 34 years she was part of my life.
