Lavata L. Peacock -MEREDIAN, MS - Funeral services for Mrs. Lavata L. Peacock, 77, of Meridian, Mississippi, formerly of Cochran, GA who died Saturday, December 3, 2005 will be held at 11A.M. Tuesday, December 6, 2005 in the Chapel of Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. -Mrs. Peacock was born in Dodge County, the daughter of the late Will M. and Edna Davis Lucas. She was a retired L.P.N. with the V.A. Hospital and a former member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Bleckley County. She had lived in Meridian, MS since 1997. -Survivors include her Husband, James Hendley of Meridian, Mississippi; two Sons, Jerry (Margaret) Peacock and Billy (Sherry) Peacock, both of Cochran; two Daughters, Lynn (Joel) Payne and Sherry (John) Graupman, both of Meridian, Mississippi; three Sisters, Jean Bohannon and Dianne Canerion, both of Eastman and JoAnn Long of Cochran; one Brother, Bo Lucas of Cochran; six Grandchildren and four Great Grandchildren. -The family may be contacted at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Peacock, Rt. 1, Cochran and will meet friends at Fisher Funeral Home from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Monday night. -Fisher Funeral Home of Cochran had charge of arrangements.
