Macon, Georgia - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mother Louise Virginia Fambro Chambliss. She transitioned to her eternal home at the age of 98 on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 3:00PM at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church located at 179 Mt. Zion Church Road, Bolingbroke, Georgia 31004. Pastor Jonathan Lowder will officiate and Pastor Eric Scott serve as the eulogist. Interment Services will follow in the Church Cemetery. Mother Chambliss leaves to cherish her loving memories her devoted son, Samuel Chambliss Jr.; devoted daughter, Rose Mary (William) Scott; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Florese Fambro Frazier; one brother-in-law, Sampson Chambliss; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Public viewing will be held today, Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the Funeral Home. The family is requesting everyone to please wear a face mask and follow CDC guidelines. Richard R. Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Services has charge of the arrangements.
