Survivors include: husband, Robert Thomas; two daughters; Debra (Anthony) Kind and Carolyn Thomas; siblings; Lenora Williams, Ruthie Hughes and James (Judy) Williams, Jr; aunt, Ruthie M. Marcus; grandchildren; Kwametrius Kind, Raven Kind, Xandria Kind, Xavier Kind, Shaderekia Freeman, Sherrod Freeman, Shamaya Freeman and Kanya Freeman; eight great-grandchildren.
