Meredith Rex (Jack) Emery -ATLANTA - Meredith Rex (Jack) Emery, of Atlanta, GA, died May 8,2002 after a long and courageous struggle with Parkinson's Disease. Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 11, 2002 at 3P.M. at Floral Hills Memory Gardens with a service of remembrance to be held at 4P.M. at Shallowford Presbyterian Church with Rev. C. Gray Norsorthy officiating. A reception will be held at the church following the service. -He is survived by his wife: Betty Davidson Emery, of 43 years; two sons: Richard W. Emery and his wife, Catherine, of Roswell, and Robert M. Emery, of Parsons, KS; two sisters: Lee Wanda Cooke and husband, Gene, of Coffeyville, KS and Dortha Hargadine and husband, Doyle, of Prairie Village, KS; bother: Raymond Emery, of Carbondale, KS; four grandchildren: Paxton Emery, Latisha and husband Robert Lewis, Robbie Emery and wife Stephanie, of Kansas and Nicholas Emery, Roswell, GA; and a number of nieces and nephews. -The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 until 9:00P.M. at Wages & Sons Funeral Home. -In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Yaarab Shrine Hospital Fund, Parkinson's Palliative Care Program, 1244 Park Vista Drive, Atlanta, GA 30319 or Shallowford Presbyterian Church. -Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel 770-469-9811
