November 13, 1920 - June 30, 2015
Henderson, GA- Molly J. Ragan, age 94, of Henderson, died Tuesday at Houston Medical Center.
Born in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Robert and Eliza Akin Johnson. Mrs. Ragan was a faithful member of Henderson Baptist Church, serving as church clerk for 30 years. She was a true Christian lady who loved people and always had a joyful, happy outlook on life. She was always smiling and laughing no matter the situation, even when her health declined in recent years. Mrs. Ragan always held firmly to her faith in God.
She was a former member of the Perry Pilot Club and served as a Pink Lady at Perry Hospital for 30 years.
Survivors: sons, Hugh Ragan, Jr. (Jane) of Smyrna and Ken Ragan (Beverly) of Perry; daughter, JaNice Maine of Daytona Beach, FL; daughter-in-law, Joan Ragan of Unadilla; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Ragan, Sr. and her son, Marvin Ragan.
Funeral services will be at 4 PM Thursday in Henderson Baptist Church with interment in Henderson Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 2 - 3:30 PM Thursday in the church fellowship hall.

My sincere condolences go to the immediate family. Molly was a first cousin to my father and had attended many of our Nobles Family Reunions in Twiggs and Pulaski Counties. My last recollection of her presence was around 2007 2009. She was definitely a warm, loving, wonderful person who will be greatly missed. She could very well be the last of that generation of our family. Our prayers of love and comfort will be offered for you.

Mrs. Molly was such a special lady who always brought a smile to my day when I had the opportunity to work with her in the 70's at Ashley's Outlet Store. She, Mrs. Clarice and our manager Joyce all taught me so many invaluable lessons on dealing with the public as well as the manner in which to
treat your coworkers that has served me so well. To her family, please keep your memories close to your heart to give you peace and comfort during this most difficult time.
