Myrtis Virginia Moye -GAINESVILLE, GA - The funeral service of Myrtis Virginia Moye, 94, of Gainesville, GA, formerly of Albany, GA, who died February 22, 2008 will be conducted Monday at 10A.M. at Byne Memorial Baptist Church. Rev. Bobby Harrell and Rev. Charles Jones will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Cordele, GA. -Mrs. Moye was born to J.P and Claudia Parker in Tippettville, GA and spent her formative years there. She married Dewey Moye, Sr., and moved to Pitts, GA where they raised their family. After her husband's death in 1965, Mrs. Moye moved to Albany, GA and resided there until her recent move to Gainesville, GA. She was a homemaker and a member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church. -Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Patricia Ann and Herman Martin of Albany, GA; four sons and their wives, Bobby and Wilo Dene Moye of Albany, GA, Billy and Shirley Moye of Macon, GA, Norman and Angie Moye and Dewey and Sheria Moye, all of Dahlonega, GA; twelve grandchildren, Christy Brown and her husband, Mark, Maria Wood and her husband, Darren, Gary Moye, Jeff Moye and his wife, Joyce, Chris Moye, Derrick Moye, Pam Moulton and her husband ,Ross, Logan Moye, Amy Laurentsen and her husband Keith, Casey Moye, Allison Trawick and her husband, Matt and Joanna Moye; seven great-grandchildren, Joseph Moye, Henry Wood, Justin Moye, Jake Moye, Jack Moye, Molly Laurentsen, Matthew Laurentsen and Mark Laurentsen. -The family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. today (Sunday) at Mathews Funeral Home. -Those desiring may make contributions to Living the Legacy, c/o Byne Memorial Baptist Church, 2832 Ledo Road, Albany, GA 31707. -To sign our online registry or to send condolences to the family, you may visit Mathews' website at www.mathewsfuneralhome.com -Mathews Funeral Home, Albany 229-435-5657.
