Forsyth, GA- Nancy Elizabeth Laughlin Bridges passed away Monday, December 28, 2015. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at Juliette
United Methodist Church. Burial will be private. Rev. Stanley Harrell will officiate.
The family will greet friends following the service.
Mrs. Bridges, the daughter of the late Charles Hugh Laughlin and Alice Beggs Laughlin was born March 20, 1935, in Ellenboro, North Carolina. Her husband, Eukley Harrison "Perk" Bridges preceded her in death. She retired from Cigna Insurance Company and was a member of Juliette United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her children, Ralph H. (Charlene) Bridges of Macon, David L. Bridges of Macon and Dale L. Bridges of Forsyth; sisters, Charlene (Billy) Aldridge of Zebulon, North Carolina and Barbara Lou Murray of Fort Wayne, Indiana; brothers, John (Janet) Laughlin of Danville, Virginia and Jack (Nancy) Laughlin of Goldsboro, North Carolina; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Juliette United Methodist Church, Post Office Box 31, McCrackin Street, Juliette, GA 31046.

We are so sorry for your loss. We met Miss Nancy at the gift shop she worked at in Juliette and greatly enjoyed talking with her about Jesus and her family. She will be greatly missed. Juliette wont be the same without her. But we know she is safe and sound in the arms of Christ and the angels are rejoicing. She was a true and great Christian woman and we are glad to have known her even for a short while. May God bless you all

Dale, I am Jamie, Jens' mother so you know that Nancy and I worked closely together for years. I loved her so and your Dad too. Jen and I still reminisce about her coming and spending the night many times during her youth. They were both like another set of grandparents to her and another set of parents to me at a time that I needed it so badly. I take comfort knowing that she is with the love of her life even though it is bittersweet because we have to say goodbye for now. Dale, Jen is right down the road from you and she knows how to reach me if you need us for anything at all. I would be honored to help you in any way. That goes for your brothers too. I am going to try to get to the service but I will have to leave right away due to a follow up appt from surgery I had 2weeks ago.I love you all and your mother touched so many lives. She always stood by me and was one of a few who was able to attend my wedding some years back.(I have a great picture of her at my reception).But I remember clearly her guidance and support. Much love and prayers coming to all of you.
