My sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Nathaniel aka "Pee-Wee".
A gentle spirit, "Pee-Wee" was a well-known fixture in many communities around Macon. His passing has been a shock to all who knew him and even to those who only knew of him by seeing him out and about on some of his many walks. If you called out his name or blew at him you'd certainly get a "hey" and a wave without him stopping or missing a step!
He's definitely left a mark and memories that'll last a lifetime.
So, take your "walk" our friend; we'll wave again...on the other side.

Poole was my buddie I was laughing yesterday about a time he came to my car and dam near took my whole hamburger I was eating I couldn't do nothing but laugh he did like to eat but he knew I was going to give him a dollar or two everytime I saw him..rest well pee wee.

I am remembering the tragic loss of a man whose character was honorable, worthy, and considerate of others. I always admired his tenacity and strength. I always thought of him as a good and decent human being. He never seemed reluctant to make HIS OWN WAY in this often cruel world. He was cordial to all that encountered him in any interactions. He would warm many hearts with his big and friendly smile. It gives me great pleasure when I think of the joy and happiness he ignited in his late grandfather, Thomas Clark Jr. on several occasions. I was fortunate enough to share in that laughter and conversation one day with the two of them on his grandfather´s (Thomas) front porch. As he displayed that big warm smile, he said, "I´m so glad y´all are my kin people." It just warmed my heart and my soul. He didn´t realize that WE were the fortunate ones to be his "kin people." Nathaniel Poole´s (Peewee) kind and gentle presence WILL BE MISSED by the many people who interacted with him in the city of Macon. I am remembering that big warm smile. I am remembering my nephew. I´m so glad that he considered me one of his "kin people." I´ll love you always Peewee!

Sending prayers and condolences to Pee Wee's family and friends. May God continue to give you peace and comfort during this tragic time. Pee Wee was a very sweet person and we will miss seeing him walking around Macon and coming by my father-in-law's house from time to time.
