Patrick Malone Obituary

Patrick Duggan Malone -DEXTER - Services for Patrick Duggan Malone, 49, who died Thursday, April 14, 2005, will be held 3P.M. Sunday, April 17, 2005 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mount Carmel Cemetery, Dexter. Elder Spencer Fussell will officiate. -Mr. Malone was a lifelong resident of Laurens County. He attended Bay Springs Primitive Baptist Church and was a member of West Laurens Young Farmers Association and the American Tree Farm Association. Mr. Malone loved spending time with his family and was an avid outdoorsman. He was an employee of S. P. Newsprint Company. -Survivors include wife, Kathy Lord Malone of Dexter, GA; children, Kevin Patrick Malone and wife Sherrie of Yulee, FL, April Marie Malone of Macon, GA, Bill Duggan Malone and wife Meredith of Dublin, GA; parents, Roy and Sarah Malone of Dexter, GA; sister, Pam Mullis and husband Tommy of Dexter, GA; brother, James Malone and wife Doris Jean of Dexter, GA; sister, Gail Poole and husband Woody of Ft. Valley, GA; Several nieces and nephews and one great nephew. -Pallbearers: Jeremy Mark Mullis, Thomas Corbin Mullis, James Barrett Malone, Jacob Woodard Poole, Ryan Malone Poole, Nicholas Malone Mullis, Keegan Stanley Malone, Roy Tyler Mullis will serve as pallbearers. Honorary escort will include Edwin Avery, Clift Crews, Buddy Fordham, Neil Lord, Mike Petree, Kevin Thomas, Ricky Sterling, Randy Graham, Dennis Dobbins, Jimmy Leroy, Dennis Owens, Boots Corbitt, Kenny Scott, Buck Killingsworth, and Nellie Wells. -In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Pat Malone Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Clift Crews, Bank of Dudley, P.O. Box 4098, Dublin, GA 31040. -The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home, Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.
