Paul Farthing Obituary

Paul D. Farthing -EASTMAN - Paul DeWayne Farthing, age 55, of Haynesville, North Carolina, died Sunday, November 6, 2005. Funeral services will be held at 2P.M., Wednesday, November 9 in Hopewell Baptist Church, Rhine, Georgia with interment in Hopewell Cemetery. -Paul was a native of Huntingon, Indiana, a Veteran of the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, a Master Carpenter and son of the late Paul Farthing and Helen Harris Farthing. -Survivors: wife, Kathy Walker Farthing of Haynesville, NC; daughter, Jamie Farthing; two sons, Jason Farthing and Jesse Farthing; five sisters, Barbara Farthing, Phyllis Wright, Nancy Williams, Carla Kennington and Cheryl Wiles; three brothers, Robert Farthing, Lowell Farthing and Marion Farthing; mother-in-law, Evelyn Dowdy Walker. -The family will receive friends in Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home from 7:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 8. Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home of Eastman has charge of arrangements.
