Warner Robins, Georgia- Robert Wells Pitts (Bob) passed away May 18, 2018 at his home in Warner Robins after a long illness.
Bob was born on September 27, 1949 in Troy, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert T. and Dorothy Pitts and his brother Tommy Pitts. Bob is survived by his wife of 27 years, Fran Pitts, sister Dotsie Pitts Knifper, children, Stephanie Pitts (David Conway), Nicholas Pitts, Megan Lockhart, and Marah Pitts all of Warner Robins, and Brian Pitts of Kathleen. His grandchildren are Austin, Sam, and Faith Pitts of Cleveland, Georgia and Candi Herringdine of Milledgeville, Georgia.
Bob graduated from Warner Robins High School in 1968. After a career at the Pabst Brewery, Bob began his own construction company creating custom homes in Warner Robins. Bob was known for his unfettered generosity and commitment to his family.
A visitation with the family will be held at the Pitts home at 745 Lake Joy Road on Tuesday, May 22 from 6:00 to 8:30 P.M.
