Ruth Elizabeth Smith -MCRAE - Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth Smith, 80, of Rt. 1, McRae died Thursday November 11, 2004. Services will be held Saturday November 13, 2004 at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home with burial to follow in Springhill Cemetery in Wheeler County. -Mrs. Smith was the daughter of Byron William and Vera Wilkerson Mills. Mrs. Smith was retired from Roydon Wear of McRae. -Survivors include her husband Christopher C. Smith of McRae, GA; two daughters, Mrs. Donna Saunders of Morrow, GA and Mrs. Joyce Hartley of Athens, GA; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Linda Angel. -The family will receive friends at the Lowe's Funeral Home from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Friday November 12, 2004. -Lowe's Funeral Home of Helena, GA is in charge of arrangements.
