Macon, Georgia - Sandra Bryant Marbut, 82, went to meet her best friend Jesus Christ on Thursday, May 19, 2022. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to Service time at the Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Riverside Cemetery Mausoleum with the Rev. John Kinser officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 682 Mulberry St., Macon, GA 31201 or to donor's favorite charity.
Sandra was born in Greeneville, TN to the late Alonzo Byrd and Gladys Lane Bryant. She was preceded in death by her siblings; Arlena Leona Bryant, Jimmy Bryant, Ted Bryant, Lonnie Bryant; and great-grandson, Joseph Henry Rutherford.
Sandra was a devout Christian and a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was a faith-filled woman, a woman of peace, full of grace and generosity.
Sandra was a licensed Real Estate Agent in the State of Georgia for over fifty years. She was employed as a commercial Real Estate Broker and Vice President with Fickling and Walker, Inc. Sandra was one of the first female Real Estate agents in Macon and the first female to earn the CCIM designation in Georgia. She was a member of Leadership Macon, Bibb County Chamber of Commerce, and Board Member for American Red Cross, and Master Gardener of Central Georgia.
She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her beloved family: daughter, Kimberlyn (Harry) Jones of Macon; son, Joey (Anita) Berkner of Macon; granddaughters; Lauren Jones Rutherford, Nancy Berkner and Jennifer Berkner, all of Macon; great-grandsons; Eli Rutherford and Harrison Rutherford; sister, Peggy Fulkerson; and several nieces and nephews.
