Sara Weaver Obituary

Sara Drucilla Ivey Weaver -MACON - Services for Mrs. Sara Drucilla Ivey Weaver will be conducted at 2P.M. Sunday, August 3 in Williams Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Jerry Pickard will officiate. Interment will follow in Baldwin Memorial Gardens. -Mrs. Weaver passed away Friday, August 1, 2008. She was a lifelong resident of Baldwin County, the wife of the late James Wilson Weaver and the daughter of the late Osmer Elrod and Carrie Green Ivey. Mrs. Weaver had retired from JP Stevens, was an Avon Representative for a number of years and co-owned Weavers 66 with her husband. She was a member of the Iris Club and Northside Baptist Church. -Survivors include her daughter, Janice Scoggins of Milledgeville; sons, Don (Debbie) Weaver of Milledgeville and David Weaver of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Gregg Scoggins of Putnam County, Brad Weaver of Barnesville, Scott Weaver of Atlanta, Beth Weaver and Brian Weaver, both of Macon; and sisters, Myra Towns, Mary Henry, both of Milledgeville and Gloria Tanner of Eatonton. -The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. -Express online condolences at www.williamsfuneralhome.net -Williams Funeral Home & Crematory of Milledgeville in charge of arrangements.
