Dublin, Georgia - Sue Harris East of Dublin passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022. Graveside Services will be held at Dublin Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022 at 3 p.m. with the Reverend Jimmy Black officiating.
Mrs. East was born in Fitzgerald, GA on November 9, 1930, to Arline Harris and Myrtle Williams Harris. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mrs. East was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Robert Lee East, Sr; her parents; sisters; Faye H. Burns and Joyce H. Williams; brothers; Bobby Harris, Johnny Harris, James Harris, and Don Harris.
Survivors include her daughter, Suzanne East Moore (Danny) of Dublin; son, Robert Lee East, Jr., (Jan) of Dublin; granddaughters; Leigh-Ann Tribble (Jack) and Kimberly Price (Casey); grandsons; Rob East (Rachel); Ben East (Madison); and Matt East; great-grandchildren; Will and Kate Tribble all of Dublin; brothers-in-law; George East, Jr., (Patty) of Dublin; George Burns of Lithonia; Earl Williams of Atlanta; sisters-in-law; Polly Altman (Jim) of Woodstock; Sudie Harris; Sylvia Harris; Frances Harris all of the Atlanta area; Barbara Harris of Fitzgerald; and several nieces and nephews. Rob East, Ben East, Matt East, Jack Tribble, Casey Price, Josh Horne, Glenn Hobbs, and Don Miller will serve as pallbearers.
