Jones County, Georgia- Sylvia Ramonia Ross Casaday, 75, of Jones Mill Road, died Saturday, April 23, 2016, at her residence.
Mrs. Casaday was born March 23, 1941, in Kannapolis, North Carolina to the late Kimzy Ervin Ross and Julia Lucille Sanderlin Ross. She was a retired checker for The Bibb Company at Plant Camelia and was preceded in death by her husband: Fred Casaday; six brothers: Ernest, Butch, Jack, Bill, Norman, and Tommy Ross and a sister: Almer Ross Basinger
Mrs. Casaday is survived by her children: Julie Drye Lyle, James E. Drye, III, Teresa Drye Tabor, Robert L. Sanderlin, Jr. and Michelle Sanderlin Rodriguez; brothers: Donald and Norman Ross; sisters: Barbara Ross Grimes and Tilda Ross Gainey; grandchildren: Layla Neumann, Erica Wagner, Sherese Wilson, Jay Drye, Nicki Drye, Tyler Stephenson, Taylor Malone, Katelyn Hartley, Trey Sanderlin, Tiffany Sanderlin, Taylor Roberts, Tyler Roberts, Miranda Scales, Mason Reynolds, Morgan Reynolds, Rayna Rodriguez and Ryan Rodriguez; and by twenty-two great-grandchildren.

Sylvia was so much fun to be around. We worked together at Plant Camellia and for a time - Sylvia, Janice Bloodworth, Mike Underwood and I rode to work together. She had a big heart and I know she will be missed by the family that she loved so much.
Rest in peace. I am so glad that I was fortunate to know you.
