Terry Leverett Obituary
augusta, GA- Ms. Terry Spratlin Leverett, 80 of 724 Greene St. entered into rest on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at the Georgia Health Sciences Medical Center in Augusta, GA.
The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Rees Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Pullium officiating. Interment will be in the Lincolnton City Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Lee Moss, Marcus Spratlin, Steve Leverett, Travis Reed, Garnett Wallace, John M. "Dusty" Rhodes, Karl Hughey and Ben Harrison.
Ms. Leverett was the daughter of the late Clark Taylor Spratlin and the late Sarah Kitchens Spratlin of Lincolnton, GA. She retired as a pharmacist with CVS in Washington, GA. and was a member of the Metropolitan Community Church of Our Redeemer. Ms. Leverett was married to the late Jack Walls Leverett of Macon, GA. for 30 years.
Survivors include one son, Clark Terrell Leverett of Macon, GA.; two daughters, Mary Walls Leverett Smith of Augusta and Sarah Nunn Leverett Hall and husband,George Bernard Hall of Augusta; one sister, Betty Pope Spratlin York and husband, William Jess " Billy" York, Jr. of Lincolnton; ten grandchildren, Frances Grace Hall, Olivia Maria Hall, Clara Georgette Hall, Dorothy Corrina Hall, Terry Lucille Hall, Caroline Elizabeth Smith, Lauren Wooten Smith, Catherine Regina Leverett, Clark Taylor Leverett and George Christian Leverett; one great granddaughter, Rilynn Sky Leverett; one nephew, William Jess York III of Athens, GA.; one niece, Brooks York Smith and husband, Trevor Keith Smith of Greer, S.C.; one great niece, Margaret Pope Smith; two great nephews, Charles Henry Smith and William Norman Smith.

Thad and I were deeply saddened to learn of Terry's passing. We have been good friends with her son Clark and his children for many, many years. They all are so very special in our hearts as was Terry. May you all soon be comforted by wonderful memories of Terry and a life well-lived. She loved all of you and was always there to offer a helping hand. Just know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers and your mother and grandmother's suffering is no more.
