Walter Reynolds Obituary

Walter Augustus Reynolds -HADDOCK - Walter Augustus Reynolds, 78, died Saturday. Funeral services will be held at 1P.M. Tuesday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue. Burial will be at 3:30P.M. in Baldwin Memorial Gardens in Milledgeville. Rev. Bill Lambert will officiate. The family will greet friends from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. -Mr. Reynolds was born in Clinton, SC and had lived in Haddock since 1980. He was retired from the Department of Transportation as a foreman and was a United States Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Belinda K. Swinford, a number of brothers and sisters and was the son of the late George W. and Neva Bledsoe Reynolds. -Mr. Reynolds is survived by his wife, Wanda J. Reynolds of Haddock; sons and daughters-in-law, William R. (Clare) Swinford of Kathleen, Douglas M. (Betty) Swinford of Sautee, GA, Walter A. (Marianne) Reynolds of Milledgeville; daughters and son-in-law, Alice Padgett of Macon, Ruth (Don) Lockaby of Macon; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; brothers, George W. Reynolds of Haddock, Robert Reynolds, Bill Reynolds, John Reynolds all of Eatonton; sisters, Lucy Rogers and Carolyn Harrell both of Eatonton, Rebee Holloway of Orange Park, FL; several nieces and nephews. -Visit www.mem.com to express tributes. -Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue, has charge of arrangements. I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Walter. I loved him so much and thought the world of him. I still remember anytime he was in VA, TN, WV, or OH....he was wanting to "head South" to Georgia. I wish I could be down there but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with the family. I love you all.
