Albert Pfeuti Obituary
August 20, 1938 - December 18, 2025
Albert Pfeuti, age 87, of Albany passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at his home. He was born on August 20, 1938 the son of Walter and Bernice (Rhyner) Pfeuti. He graduated from Albany High School. On July 14, 1962 Albert married Karen Anderson in Monticello.
Albert was a dairy and crop farmer his whole life he also drove truck hauling cattle. He was a member of Zwingli United Church of Christ, AMPI, and a former member of the Moose Lodge. Albert enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and attending his grandkids sporting events. Above all, the jokes he told will be missed.
Albert is survived by his wife, Karen; children, Jeff (Cathy) Pfeuti, Scot (Marian) Pfeuti, and Susan (Brian) Dahl; grandchildren, Brandon (Hillary Koster) Pfeuti, Courtney Pfeuti, Ethan (Briana) Pfeuti, Tyler (Lydia Bakke) Dahl, Joshua (Izzy Lalonde) Dahl, Brianna Dahl, Alecia Dahl, Taylor (Blake Welu) Pfeuti, McKenna Pfeuti, and Rahfi Pfeuti; great-grandchildren, Brooks and Finley Pfeuti and Bradley Pfeuti; brother-in-law, Ken Anderson; sister-in-law, June (Don) Chapin; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Bernice; sister, Dorothy (Wes) Krupke; and parents-in-law, Oscar & Rose Anderson.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 22, 2025 at the Albany Lions Club with Pastor Mary Gafner officiating.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM. A continued visitation will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the Albany Lions Club.
