Reverend Allen Edward Wahl
Jan. 26, 1937 – Jan. 16, 2024
MADISON – Reverend Allen Edward Wahl, age 86, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024, at Agrace HospiceCare.
A funeral service will be held at MESSIAH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5202 Cottage Grove Road, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, with Reverend Jeff VandenHeuvel presiding. A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024, and also at the church starting at 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday.

I have fond memories of Pastor Wahl. He made a lasting impact on me during my time as a youth at St. Luke's Church. I remember his friendly demeanor, patience with my youth group antics, and memorable teaching moments, like cooking a potato over a campfire. My sympathies to the Wahl family and heartfelt condolences for their loss.
