When I was hired by Wayland Schools to teach third grade, Ann was on my team, and she was so very kind to me. I soon learned that she was kind to everyone! Ann was knowledgeable and smart and a excellent teacher, but she never raised her voice or blew her own horn. We stayed fast friends as I had children, went to another school, and life went on. Her goodness never changed nor did our friendship, despite distance and health issues. There was no one like her. I loved her and she will be missed.
