Brian Strohmenger Obituary
July 12, 1963 - October 24, 2025
Brian R. Strohmenger, age 62, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025 at UW Hospital in Madison surrounded by his family. He was born on July 12, 1963 in Madison and was the son of Dean and Janet (Harry) Strohmenger. He married Cindy Grattafiori on August 6, 1987 at Lakeview Moravian Church in Madison. Brian graduated with the Sun Prairie Class of 1981. He worked for 42 years at Madison Kipp and was a supervisor.
He is survived by his children, Paula (Mike Smigleski), Amy (Chad) O'Kroley, Andrea Strohmenger; six grandchildren Sky, Cora, Cierra, Kenzie, Sophia and Riley; a sister, Mary (Bill) Bartlett; brothers, Mark (Denise), Michael; many nieces; and nephews; longtime partner Amy Latsch; her children, Allison Latsch, Mallory (Brandon) Hanson, Gavin Janke; and his fur grandson Berkley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Cindy.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025 at the Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus Street in Sun Prairie. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the service on Friday. Burial will be at Sun Prairie Memory Gardens. The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, a Memorial Fund is being established.
