Delores Einerson Obituary
Delores Einerson
July 24, 1934 - October 7, 2025
Delores Joan Einerson passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, at age 91. She was born in Primrose Township, Wisc., July 24, 1934, the daughter of Elmer and Aslaug Hoesly. She graduated from New Glarus High School and Platteville State College where she met her loving husband, Ron Einerson. Delores' first teaching job was at a one room schoolhouse in Pipe, Wisc. Ron and Delores were married August 19, 1956, and lived in Cashton and Plymouth where she taught in elementary schools. They moved to Neenah in 1968 where she was a teacher's aide at the Neenah YMCA preschool and the Neenah School District Title 1 Program.
Known fondly by her siblings and grandchildren as DeDe or De, she was a loving, kind, optimistic, compassionate woman who was a dedicated daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her family, watching her husband coach basketball, and attending UW and Neenah basketball games when they retired. She especially liked traveling with Ron both in the US and abroad and mother-daughter trips with her three daughters. She also enjoyed spending one-on-one time with each grandchild visiting parks, zoos, museums, swimming pools, and more.
A staunch advocate for public education, she was a voracious reader who shared her love of books, especially children's books, with her daughters and grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing cards, Bridge, Euchre, and Pinocle among others. She was also always willing to play games with whichever grandchild asked. Growing up on a farm, she loved nature - trees, flowers, and birds - and enjoyed her walks to Riverside Park in Neenah. She was a long-time active member of the First United Methodist church in Neenah.
She is survived by her husband, Ron; three daughters: Andree (Craig) Fredrick, Laura (Mike) Radke and Leslie (Todd) Eberhardt; seven grandchildren: Jason Fredrick, Jordan (Natalie) Fredrick, Megan Radke (Derek) Polk, Jenna Radke, Nicholas, Taylor and Tori Eberhardt; and beloved great-granddaughter, Scottie Rose. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Jan Hoesly; brothers-in-law, Mal Einerson and Gary Einerson; her cousin and best friend throughout her life, Sharon Walker; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Carol; brother, Dwight; and sisters-in-law, Vi Einerson and Sandi Einerson.
The family would like to thank Cardinal View Assisted Living and Agrace staff for the compassionate care she received.
