Dennis G. Chadwick
Feb. 27, 1949 - April 2, 2023
DEERFIELD - Dennis G. Chadwick, age 74, passed away at UW Hospital on April 2, 2023.
He was born on February 27, 1949, in Columbus, WI, to Gerald and Helen (Suchomel) Chadwick.
Denny graduated from Deerfield High School where he was a member of the FFA, excelled and loved playing football and was Homecoming King. Denny and Betty made their home on the farm where they raised their three children. He was always on the farm and could be seen with his Co-pilot Skip accompanying him on the many miles they put on the John Deere tractors working the fields or driving around checking out the crops, deer, other wildlife making their way thru the land or what's happening in the neighborhood while on the golfcart. You always knew when Denny was at your place to visit you, due to him blaring the horn of whatever it was that he was driving regardless of what time it was. Although we always said one day we would disconnect the horn on everything he owns, that sound will now be missed dearly. There was not a person that Denny could not start a conversation with, he could talk to anyone about anything. His favorite conversations, however, were to do with farming, hunting and his family. He was beyond blessed and proud to tell you many of the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren.
Denny is survived by his soul mate and partner, Betty; daughter, Diana (Luke) Regoli; sons: Terry (Karen) and Joey (Teresa) Chadwick; grandchildren: Paul Chadwick, Kaleb Regoli, Haley and Shyann Roundy; and great-grandson, Dominic Chadwick; and his shadow and companion who will miss him dearly, Skip. As well as, brother, Roger Chadwick; sister, Janet Gyland; and many nieces and nephews and other family and friends. Denny was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 10, 2023, at St. Paul Liberty Lutheran Church in Deerfield. Friends may greet the family from 9:30 AM until the time of services.
"And on the 8th day God looked down on his planned paradise and said, "I need a caretaker." So, God made a farmer."
