Gene's best memory was attending the Ice Bowl and then heading to Florida for Super Bowl II to thaw out! Gene and Marilyn retired to Florida in 2008 where they made many friends and memories.

Marilyn, Tina, and Bob - I'm so sorry for your loss. I always loved to hear Dad and Gene tell stories of the shenanigans from their early years. Their friendship lasted a lifetime and I'm sure they are tearing it up in heaven. May God bless you.

Condolences to Gene's family. I had the privilege of working with Gene during the 1990s when I was the Dane County Director of Administration, then Director of Human Services and Chief of Staff to the County Executive. Gene was a professional whom we all trusted for his integrity, knowledge and accurate financial information. He truly served the public.
