SUN PRAIRIE - Gladys Boe, age 97, passed away peacefully at home on April 26, 2024.
She was born on August 19, 1926, to Albert and Anna (Picha) Subera, on the family farm in Hillsboro, WI. After high school she went to Madison to work. She married Albert Boe of Windsor on February 5, 1949.
She was employed at The Lorraine Hotel, Stevens Grocery store and the State of Wisconsin - Department of Social Services, retiring after 21 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; her son, Roger; her parents;
brothers: Rudolph, Raymond and Elmer; and sister, Libbie.
She is survived by sons: Kenneth (Marbel) and Donald; daughter, Carol; grandchildren: Breydis Slinger and Kenny Boe; sister-in-law, Joyce Subera; as well as nieces and nephews, cousins and special friends.
Funeral services will be held at Roselawn Chapel-Monona on May 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with burial at Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
