RIO - Harold P. Dahl, age 82, of Rio, passed away surrounded by family November 16, 2023, at Prairie Ridge Health in Columbus.
Harold was born in Madison, WI February 19, 1941 to Mabel (Thompson) and Harold K. Dahl. He married the love of his life Ruthann Hammersley March 4, 1959 and they were able to spend 64 loving years together. Harold enjoyed woodworking, outdoor model trains and helping his children and grandchildren with whatever they needed.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park Chapel, Monona WI 53716 with Rev. Michael Daley officiating Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. He will be laid to rest in Roselawn Cemetery. Harold's family would like to thank the wonderful caring staff at Prairie Ridge Hospital for their excellent and compassionate care. Harold will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was known for his love of buffalo plaid and we will never see it without thinking of him. Online condolences may be made at www.grassefs.com. Grasse Funeral Service in Rio is serving the family.
