Miller, James
MUSCODA - James Miller, 79, of Muscoda, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2021, at Gunderson Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse. He was born Sept. 10, 1942, the son of Robert L. and Martha (Sobek) Miller. On Oct. 16, 1965, Jim was united in marriage to Dawn Davis at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Muscoda, and the couple resided in Madison until their return to Muscoda in 1971. Jim and Dawn traveled all over the United States on their motorcycle.
Jim is survived by his sister, Catherine Eberle of Milwaukee; sister-in-law, Cheryl Miller of Muscoda; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dawn; brothers, Robert and Larry; brothers-in-law, Jack Eberle, Francis "Jeep" Davis, and Ricky Davis; and sister-in-law, Dee Davis.
Services will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 19, at 11 a.m. at ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CATHOLIC CHURCH in Muscoda, with burial to follow in the Dawson Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 19, at the GODAGER PRATT FUNERAL HOME from 9 a.m. until the departure to the church at 10:45 a.m. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
